The 2018 Arcadis Great City Games Manchester, provides a unique opportunity for spectators to see top athletes from across the globe compete in an urban environment. The event takes place on the Great CityGames track on Deansgate in the heart of the city, and at the purpose built athletics arena in Albert Square, and is part of a great weekend of sport in Manchester, built around the Simply health Great Manchester Run, Europe’s biggest 10k.
An event we hold special to us at Black Mamba Elite, having featured there in 2015 with x2 time Olympic and World champion; Felix Sanchez in the LEGACY suit as well as 2017’s GB 100m international sprinter Andy Robertson in the TRK-COMBAT suit. So it’s great to partner up with the local athlete Robertson again for this year’s event and represent the new VIBRA suit – our fastest and lightest compression to date.
Andy Robertson will be up against fellow GB Aikines-Aryeetey and Norway’s Jonathan Quarcoo in the blue riband sprint event, which will be broadcast live on BBC Two from 6pm-7.30pm.
